Just for info - I am keen to have the rally on the original date if possible, as I'll be unavailable for the 3 weekends after that (be on the mainland).
I always vote early at a polling station (they usually open the week before for people that can't make it on the day and it saves heaps of time. You'll need to give an excuse - going or attending a car rally - be in the forest all day should do or lie and say you have to work all day). Postal votes are a bit of a waste of time as you post in, then they post out the paperwork and then you have to post that in. Pre-voting is definiately the way to go and has never taken me more than 5 minutes.

Given the date change you can cross Newman/How off as well. Can't make it on that day. Frustrating part is had the rally always been the 28th could have made it. C'est la vie. _________________ http://shiftlockmotorsport.blogspot.com/ |

this one is unknown....
the last one had 240 000km + 3 years of khanacross, and then a couple of gravel hillclimbs, a club day and several portions of rallies....and even a full rally.
in all that time i dont recall changing the oil filter.... although we always used fresh oil to fill it up. and that was often _________________ mt stages-unfinished business....

In case anyone didn't know - the rally date has changed to the 28th of August, due to the election. This has been confirmed by Ross Ferguson.

If I'd known I would of booked my Thailand trip a week later, by the way rally comes before elections ( I thought), we can all put in an early votes.
